As an avid solo traveler, I recently found myself in the charming town of Astoria and decided to indulge in a gourmet getaway at the modern Holiday Inn Express. The hotel's culinary offerings did not disappoint. From the signature free breakfast buffet featuring eggs and a pancake machine to the tantalizing dishes at Bridgewater Bistro just 0.52 km away, my taste buds were truly treated.However, my experience at the hotel's own breakfast left something to be desired. While the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast did not quite live up to the innovative culinary standards set by the rest of the hotel. Despite this, the ambiance of the dinning room itself was welcoming, and the proximity to other dining options like El Tapatio and Columbia River Coffee Roasters made up for any culinary shortcomings.
